In 2014, İpek and Doğu bought an almost demolished, tiny stone house in central Bodrum. Following the renovation and legal restoration process which took three years a new space began to emerge. Although not known for certain the old house was estimated to be around two centuries old. It is now recovered as a surviving landmark in this Aegean / Mediterranean landscape with a new prospect. Since 2019, the couple is transforming the house and its garden into an unpretentious and sincere art breathing space. In Art Space Halicarnassus Doğu has a workshop for painting and making sculpture, İpek creates corners and spots to concentrate on her work and the open-air gallery is for art display and sharing thoughts and moments with friends.
